Dr Marilyn Waring, Professor, Institute of Public Policy, Auckland University of Technology is the keynote speaker. She will share with us her recent research on how women across the Pacific region are faring with respect to their human rights..... 15 years after all UN members agreed to implement the Platform for Action adopted by the UN Fourth World Conference on Women, September 1995 in Beijing.

Following the keynote address " Beijing+15 -The Pacific Region" and time for questions to Dr Waring, there will be brief feed-back and highlights from Aucklanders who attended the recent NGO Global Forum Beijing + 15 in New York and the UN Commission on Status of Women 2010 (CSW 54).
